Imagine a World in which there was no lifeboat and no air ambulance when you need one. No hospice or support group. Nowhere for abused children to turn, or animals either. No guiding dogs for the blind or deaf, and hardly any medical research. No-one to turn to at your blackest moment. It's hard to imagine isn't it? Without gifts in Wills, some charities would simply not exist. Others would have to make dramatic cuts and very hard decisions. The World would be a very different, a very cold place. We have good reason to thank those who have remembered a charity. Nearly three-quarters of us give to charities in our lifetime but less than five percent leave anything for charities after their death. If you don't make a Will and die intestate, there is no guarantee your money will go where you want. Only one in seven Wills that go to Probate include a charitable bequest. Yet if you leave a legacy to a charity your donation is exempt from tax. We like to support charitable organisations, if your Wills are simple and you are leaving all of your money to charity we will draw these up for you free of charge.
